I am RIT Faculty Campaign
I worked with the Office of Faculty Diversity & Recruitment at RIT to fill a gap that was identified in the space of visual representation of diverse faculty. The goal was to create a campaign that through posters, social media posts and video interviews would allow diverse faculty to be seen and share their love for RIT and the Rochester community. This campaign would assist with recruiting efforts of new faculty as well as allow people to get to know the people behind the work.
I combined photography and written content to develop this series of 14 posters which are hosted on the Diversity and Inclusion website, posted strategically around campus and used on social media. This project also included a series of interviews with leadership and RIT faculty members where they share their experiences.
This campaign highlights and celebrates our excellent and diverse faculty, in both a personal and professional manner, while highlighting a shared identity – I am RIT Faculty. Through the following video and photo campaign, take a moment to see and hear directly from our faculty, as they discuss life as a faculty member here at RIT, and life as a community member within the greater Rochester area.

Frederick Douglass Storyboards
In the Fall of 2020, a sculpture of Frederick Douglass was commissioned by RIT President David Munson and Vice President and Associate Provost for Diversity and Inclusion in celebration of the 50th anniversary of RIT’s Black Awareness Coordinating Committee (BACC)—RIT’s first cultural club—and in honor of the 200th birthday of the great orator and abolitionist.
I worked with a committee of people at RIT to design the wall installations which would accompany this sculpture in a prominent location on campus. In partnership with individuals who were writing this content and history, I researched and identified the historic photographs, photos of the artistic process of the sculpture being created, as well as photos from the BACC 50th celebration. I was also involved in the process of these works being installed to ensure that they were placed in a manner that would frame the sculpture and look visually appealing in the space.

WOCHA/MOCHA Engagement Piece
The Women of Color, Honor and Ambition and Men of Color, Honor and Ambition programs are the prominent leadership programs for students of color within the Division of Diversity and Inclusion at RIT. This double sided engagement piece was created to provide a high level overview of both programs for potential donors, mentors and other populations like RIT Trustees.

Heritage Months
Heritage Month Marketing
Each year the Division of Diversity and Inclusion at RIT hosts programming around heritage months including the below Hispanic Heritage Month and Native American Heritage Month programs. This includes developing both print and digital designs that will be shared with the RIT community via printed posters, LCD screen displays, branded email communications and social media posts. I developed a visual identity for each month that would carry across the different platforms and allow for consistency and build visual awareness.
